It's been a long time.

Its a Sunday afternoon, I am here in my room, in my bed, listening to music, there is no greater feeling. I think since May I haven't write anything. Well what can I say, summer happened.
It was fun and eventful but at the same time very relaxed: I had a part time job, I went to some concerts, saw a lot of movies, spent a lot of time with my friends, went out, ate a lot, stayed home, fell in love with new bands, didn't sleep a lot, had a small case of depression, which was awful, but most of the time, laugh a lot. It was a good summer. Tomorrow is my first day at school, and there are some changes, I'll explain later. I wish I had a camera, my own camera, to post my life and stuff, I am still saving money for one. I don't know what else to say. Probably I'll come here more often.

Simple kind of life.

Yesterday i went to the no doubt show, it was amazing, i went through a lot of stuff before the show, but it was totally worth it, i couldn't really see the sounds, but what I've heard was really cool.

Paramore was cool as usual. Hayley Williams has an amazing energy and finally No Doubt just killed it. It was really cool, they have a really cool stage and videos, my favorite song was "simple kind of life" its one of my favorites and Gwen really felt it, and ex girl friend.

Gwen Stefani is amazing, she got off the stage and started running through the whole arena. it was really cool

Like a feather in a hurricane.

Stress can fuck up your body. School has been really hard, tons of work, and more still to come, I am so tired and sleepy, but I am SO happy for fridayy. I have no plans yet for the weekend, but rest is definetly something I'm doing, plus homework.

Now that I remembered I was going to post some pictures from last week's concert, it was awesome. Hearing acoustic version of tai's songs made me love them more. I a big fan of the band, but I didn't like their last record, but after the show last week, I liked it, idk why.
And I've been listening to This Providence's new album Who are you now?, they are going to make it with this album, it's really good, I recommend it.


Also, the virgins , they are so cool, if you haven't heard them, then you definetly should, they are really cool,, and fun to dance to.

On the run.

School has been killing me, and I couldn't be happier for the weekend. Tomorrow: i am going to San Diego for an acoustic show, Tai and this prov are playing. And weekend my friends from Monterrey come to visit. Really I am really excited.

The young and the restless

I know I promised a fashion week update, but this week was hell. I slept at 1 am almost everyday, and extremely tired, but thank God is Friday, I went to a party, and I had a great time. but i am very tired right now. hopefully I'll be posting more often.

Today was a chick flick day for me, I watched Elizabethtown, I LOVE that movie, I wish that happened to me, except for the part of the funeral, of course, just the romance part and the map, my favorite part, I am the kind of person that would do the map. And I also watched Just like heaven, I just love Mark Ruffalo, he is just to adorable.


New York's Fashion week is almost over! and I'll be posting my report this weekend, I was looking at some shows today, Rodarte, Anna Sui and Marc were brilliant, but I'll be talking about that later.

Geometric elephants

Finally laying in bed, this weekend is going to be a long one, tomorrow, I don't have french; on Friday I have just one class, and on Monday, I have no school. Sadly, I have tons of homework, including building a paper elephant, and geometry, lots and lots of geometry. The thing is, that I don't really get that class, I do get the process and the things that the teacher ask us , but I don't really get what's the point, my mind works that way, if I don't understand the whole point of something, I don't get it, that happened with calculus last year.
But anyway, fashion week is this week, and tomorrow in my free time I'll be checking the shows.
I've only seen Alexander Wang's show. Brilliant. I hate that man so much, he is too talented and I am too jealous.

I don't really hate A Wang, I admire him so much.

The V weekend.

Long time no see.
As you may see, I was a little bit upset on Friday 13.but it's true, I have bad luck, I try to not believe in those thing, but anyway.
On Friday I went out with my friend Arely, and went to Le Castle Vania, FINALLY I got to see him play, well like 4 song, but I mean it was awesome, so I was okay with 4 song, on Valentine's day, I went to my best friend's house, and hung out with my 4 best friends in town. It was fun, we baked cupcakes and watched MTV, it was fun.
I've been quite busy with school, I am taking french lessons and I love them, unfortunately, my schedule is very tight, so some days I spend like 10 hours in school, and when I get home, I just I have time to do homework, it's a bit exhausting, but I hope it's worth it.
Right now I am fighting with my back, I have all the stressed gathered in my back, and it's quite painful. But right now I am off to bed, like a little girl, but I've been tired and sleepy and I have a busy day tomorrow.
Hopefully I have more free time when gossip girl is back with new episodes.

I am feeling that.
So right now I am flipping out. First of all, I've been watching the grammys, they were pretty cool.
I had no idea M.I.A. was pregnant! that was a shocker. And Coldplay won my heart all over again.
I was watching the Jonas, who by the way were probably freaking out because they were performing with Stevie Wonder, good for them, and after that, oh my God, BLINK 182, I am a HUGE fan of them, and people (approximately my age) who say that they never liked blink are probably lying, they made a huge impact on music of our generation, and influenced a lot of new artist... so they're announced to present best rock album, and I see them together, and feels awesome, then I see this:

and I die, okay I am overreacting, but I am so happy, I've be waiting for their new record, for them to announce their tour dates. I am so happy. It's only February and there are all ready 2 big reunions for 09.

While everyone is lost.

It's eleven something on a Saturday night. I am lame, I am in my room listening to shuffle music, right now is the Killers (weird haha) and drawing some things for school. The reason is, as I told you before, I am sick, still. I have the flu, but more like a kind of infection, because I have sinusitis, and it's not fun at all. It feels like if someone had punch me in the face. And it really hurts, plus, I am all upset because all day I've been calling to a radio station to win tickets for Coldplay, and I've been caller number 1,3,5, and I need to be number 9 to win. I'll keep trying.
I want to watch or read, whichever comes first, Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist. The thought of having a musical soul mate sounds pretty good.

Say random.

So I've been sick for a week now, and I am kind of sad because right now Katy Perry is singing at HoB in San Diego, and I am here, at home, not watching the concert. Yes, the show was sold out.
I have nothing really important to talk about., so I am doing a "1039 random things about you" but I am only doing 10, just because I am bored, and I wanted to post something

1. I am the kind of person that gets obsessed with things, not in a sick way, but I get obsessed with movies, bands, places, etc. Right now, I am obsessed with fashion blogs.
2. I love going to concerts. And usually I save my money for a concert. This year I failed, I wanted Coachella, but spent my money for Monterrey, but it was worth it, I still have money for one or two shows.
3. I am a dog person, I get pretty ridiculous when I see a dog, and I don't like cats that much.
4. I feel so jealous of designers that make it big when they are young, like Alexander Wang, but that's also something I really admire.
5. I want to be a fashion designer, but I would also like to be a band/concert photographer.
6. For some reason, is very easy for me to memorize celebrity/music/ fashion related stories, sometimes, that's all I talk about.
7. I like almost every kind of movie, except scary movies and bloody movies where the whole cast gets killed.
8.I can't walk in high heels, I look like a chicken.
9. I am a big Harry Potter fan, and I can admit it.
10.It's very common for me to relate a real life problem with something from tv. It's dumb but I do it a lot. for example, there is a certain situation and I am like "yeah like that time in the O.C. when Ryan and Marissa..."

and the bonus one. I am not as dumb nor shallow as it seems.

Today was officially my first day back to school. I did nothing in school, but the first days are like that. So since I didn't have homework, I found my sister's camera (mine is broken) and took a few random pictures.
