Back to reality.

So yesterday I got back from Monterrey, it was awesome, pictures and stories later on, but for now
I found out last night, there is now Nylon Mexico, yes a Mexican version of the fabulous Nylon Magazine, and for the first issue, we have beautiful Leighton Meester.

She looks good with bangs, and I will be looking for it in every single newsstand.

Bon Voyage

So in a few moments I am leaving to Monterrey, I am visiting some friends there. I am so excited, I've been waiting this for almost 3 months. Oh the adventures. Next time I'll be doing a big post.

The queen suicide.

Yesterday I went to my best friend's house. I stayed at her house for a girly girl's night. We watched some movies, it was like a Kirsten Dunst theme, but not on purpose, we watched the Virgins Suicides and Marie Antoinette, very different, but both talk about free-spirit girls, well except for the fact that in the vs, the girls at some point are trapped in her house, and killed themselves, yeah, i liked more Marie Antoinette, it's a bit happier and oh my god, the clothes and pretty much EVERYTHING in the movie, the sets, the decoration, food, make up, hair, shoes, I loved it, I love Victorian style, I want my room to be like that.

Tomorrow I have to keep my self busy for the day, otherwise I am going to go insane and anxious, only one day away from my 5 day vacations in Monterrey, so maybe tomorrow I'll make a double post or something.

I want you hair Miss Antoinette, and you dresses and shoes and desserts and..

And I qoute..

"Nothing is original. Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination.
Devour old films, new films, music, books, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, street signs, trees, clouds, bodies of water, light and shadows.
Select only things to steal from that speak directly to your soul. If you do this, your work (and theft) will be authentic.
Authenticity is invaluable; originality is non-existent.
And don't bother concealing your thievery-celebrate it if you feel like it. In any case, always remember what Jean-Luc Godard said: "It's not where you take things from-it's where you take them to."
-Jim Jarmusch

I found this quote in a random blog, and immediately after I finished reading it, it became my favorite one.

She's lost control.

Today was an irrelevant day, except for the fact that I watched a movie that I've wanted to see for such a long time, I am talking about Control, yes the Joy Division movie, I absolutely LOVED that movie, well except the ending, but what I like the most, it was of course Sam Riley, he is my newest crush, he is a former model, and that is probably the reason why Christopher Bailey chose him for Burberry's Fall/Winter 08 campaign along with British model, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
I mean look at him, he is gorgeous.

from the movie

Fresh stylish start

Random talk, the Golden Globes were yesterday, I am so happy Kate Winslet won two awards, and i want to watch slumdog millionare, but now to the important stuff, omg the dressessss, and I want to talk about Evan Rachel Wood, she wore a black Elie Saab, she look so elegant and vintage, she looked stunning,

Then there is fabulous Drew Barrymore in John Galliano for Dior, I didn't liked her hair that much, but the dress is aboslutely amazing

And finally, Olvia Wilde in a lavendar Reem Acra, looking like royalty, I loved her dress, it was maybe a little too princessish for the awards, but it was so beautiful

I know its a little late for new years talking, like resolutions for example, I got a few.
First of all, I must buy a camera and a sewing machine this year, so that means I have to get a job, but probably that's going to be some time in the summer, sadly..
Also there is everyone's favorite, the "this year I AM going to make it", eating healthy and exercising more, but I hope I'll really do this. And then there this year's new challenge, my challenge, to read at least a book per month, you see, I am not much of a reader, I used to be, when I was younger and like two years ago with the harry potter series, but now I don't read much, just magazines (fashion and music, and once in a wild the trashy-gossip ones), but this year I want to become a bookworm, or at least read something, I want to talk about books as I talk about music or fashion and other stuff, one step at a time, I know, well for now, I've read my January book, it was "The day I killed James" by Catherine Ryan Hyde, I highly recommend it.

Probably there are more "resolutions" for this year, things that I want to accomplish this year, but those are it for now.
Another one: update this regularly
09 will be the year
